We recommend regular reviews for all patients with a chronic health complaint, including Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Dementia, Heart disease, Mental health problems etc. You will be called in annually for this by our team. The help you can get from us can be supplemented by many charities, see the links below and let us know of any you would like adding.
- COPD
- Asthma in adults or children
- Inflammatory bowel disease: Crohns disease, Ulcerative colitis
- Ischaemic heart disease/Angina
Family Planning
Advice on contraception, including implant fitting and coil fitting.
For more information on contraception, please visit the Family Planning Association website
Flu Vaccinations
We run annual Flu clinics on Saturdays in late October, ask at reception for further information. If are eligible for a flu vaccine, you should receive a letter. If you are not eligible but want one, several local pharmacies offer a private service.
Joint Injections
Several of our GPs are able to inject joints where this is clinically indicated, such as uncontrolled pain from various conditions. You will need to see a doctor first to see if this is appropriate for you.
Minor Surgery
We provide a small Minor surgery service to patients for lesions that are covered by NHS commissioning rules. We do not operate on skin lesions that are suspicious of cancer, and will refer these to the appropriate hospital department.
Travel Vaccinations
Please note, we no longer provide a service for travel vaccinations. We will still offer all NHS vaccines free of charge for travel purposes. For more information, see our page on travel vaccines.
Services not seen here can often be accessed by self referral – please see our self help page for more information – and let us know if there is something you would like to see here
